Founders' Wing
Our History
Throughout the years, EAA’s history has been well documented.
Paul Poberezny has been a meticulous record keeper of EAA’s history and heritage for over 50 years. He has faithfully preserved and recorded events, decisions, communications, newsletters, artwork, photographs, press coverage, aircraft and other treasures of EAA’s long and dynamic history.
These artifacts not only catalogue our history, but they share the memories and moments that founded EAA and, in many cases, changed the face of aviation.
EAA’s history isn’t truly about airplanes ... it’s about relationships, relationships between the friends and fellow aviators that banded together for a common passion.
And now, the tangible remains of those connections are what we are able to exhibit in the Founders’ Wing. They form a priceless collection to help reconstruct the bonds of yesterday in order to build new relationships tomorrow.
